Anna Brewster

Anna is an East Devon-based artist working primarily with mixed media, watercolour and ink, and acrylics for bigger landscapes and seascapes.

Her background is in photography but upon moving to Devon she swapped her camera for brushes and hasn’t looked back.

She is based at Umborne Bridge Studio in Colyton, where she also teaches and work for sale can be viewed at the studio on request or during opening hours. Her work is expressive, often vibrantly coloured and with a strong emphasis on mark making throughout.

She runs workshops for adults and children at Sidmouth Seafest and the Coastal Community Hub at the Fishermens’ Shed.

She also works on illustrations and art for children when she isn’t painting seascapes, and is happy to take on commissions.

Alex Boon is an artist and nature journaling educator from East Devon, UK.

His style is inspired by the British tradition of artists recording nature, particularly Edith Holden, Beatrix Potter, and Charles Tunnicliffe.
